Getting around Molokaʻi for a date (checked Nov 2, 2026)
- MEO's Rural Shuttle is free to ride and needs no reservation. It runs Monday to Friday (except holidays) with limited Saturday service, on routes from Kaunakakai east to Pukoʻo, west to Maunaloa, and through Hoʻolehua to the Kalaʻe lookout. - Commuter flights link Molokai Airport (Hoʻolehua) with Honolulu and Kahului, Maui, on Mokulele Airlines (mokuleleairlines.com). Parking at the airport is free.
- The shuttle runs on a set daytime schedule, so for evening dates most people drive. Kaunakakai is the easy middle point for a first meet.
Joining is free and needs no card. Women can also try Kamaʻāina Basic free for 1 month. The trial needs a card and renews at $9.99/month unless you cancel before it ends (terms).
